I'm Brittany, I'm 21 years old. For the most part i'm a fandom blog. I am also in treatment and recovery for self harm, eating disorder, PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

I'm always open to talk. I don't bite I promise!

ian grabbing mickey by the hips, putting him on top of the kitchen table, wrapping mickey’s legs around his waist, locking their lips together, taking his shirt off and pressing wet kisses to his collarbones and then down to his chest (ʘ‿ʘ✿)

I just started watching Shameless for the first time.

I have found myself both horrified and highly entertained, often in the same moment.

Things keep happening where I think, “I’ve got to stop watching. I can’t handle this any more.”

And then at the end of every episode, I’m like,

The best part about this show is that it so gloriously depicts both the depravity of humanity and the lovely bits. It makes me glad to be alive.

but in 1x11 when Ian goes to visit Mickey in juvie and Mickey get’s that smug smile on his face he’s like “yeah, this kid came to visit me, he likes me, he misses me, i’m the shit, look, someone wants me and misses me.” and mickey’s just so fucking proud in that moment. and it’s wonderful because it shows that he’s taken pride in his and ian’s relationship since the beginning.

do most american world maps seriously have america in the centre?

WE DO HAHAHAHA

Are you fucking kidding me.

In Chinese maps, Asia is in the center. Which nation is centralized depends on the map’s origins.

In Canada, our maps are cut through the Pacific, so we don’t offend anyone.

sometimes i feel like canadian stereotypes go too far and then this happens

Australian maps are upside down so Australia is above everyone else

you think this is a joke

are you fucking serious

In 1967, Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to enter and complete the Boston Marathon as a numbered entry. She registered under the gender-neutral name of “K.V. Switzer”. After realizing that a woman was running, race organizer Jock Semple went after Switzer shouting, “Get the hell out of my race and give me those numbers.” however, Switzer’s boyfriend and other male runners provided a protective shield during the entire Marathon. These photographs taken of the incident made world headlines.
